I’m the ‘transitional champion’ of Fused

There’s an old-school pro wrestling tactic where the championship title moves from one babyface (good guy) wrestler to another, but you don’t want those two to directly fight, preventing anyone from looking like a bad guy as an outcome. The solution is to introduce a third wrestler as a transitional champion, usually a heel (bad guy), who wins the title off the first babyface, only to lose it soon after to second.

That’s how my role works within Fused, (though, hopefully not as a heel). As a UX Developer, I’m often working directly in the transitional moments between strategy and design, ensuring the design work accomplishes all the goals and intentions determined from the strategy stage. Then again, helping to pass the design to development, ensuring the design is both accomplishable and in-line with development expectations.

Spotify keeps recommending a ‘Psychedelic Doom’ playlist to me.

I still haven’t figured out what makes it so doom-y, but I do quite like it. My go-to band is the Queens of the Stone Age.

I’m closing in on 100 wins in Call of Duty: Warzone.

It’s not that impressive, but I do enjoy playing it. Let’s just not talk about how many hours I’ve logged in that game – or others for that matter.
