Ten years ago we were a team of 3, with too many small website projects to handle. But we aspired to be more. We dedicated time to learning, broadened our skillsets, and did whatever it took to help grow a few of those projects to be our primary client relationships.
A decade later we're officially transitioning our website design and development shop into a creative & digital marketing agency. But we're missing a few smart and talented people who can help us get all the way there – people who can help us deliver even more value to our clients.
Our clients rely on us as their marketing team — the thinkers, creatives, builders, and analysts who help them reach their business goals.
We rely on our clients as a source of vision, loyalty, purpose, and profit so that we can keep doing the work we love to do.
When those reliances align, everything is magical. We work hard to make sure we're working with the right clients. And we're lucky to already be working alongside business leaders who believe in this type of partnership as much as we do.
Being passionate about your craft — whether that craft is design, coding, producing video, writing content, or creating data reports — is a must. We are all constantly seeking improvement, striving to add value, and avoiding cutting corners at all costs. You'll hear lots of exciting new ideas, civil arguments, and meaningful critiques inside our walls.
We're thinkers first and doers second. We don't focus on selling work or ideas that will just make our agency money. We focus on doing work that will help our clients make (or save) money. Every project we touch has a purpose, and we spend a lot of time thinking through the work we're doing.
We know — hearing famous narcissists tell us how humbled they are makes us cringe, too. But that's not what we're talking about. We're talking about real humility — the ability to realize that your opinion is interesting but not always right, that you don't have all the answers, and that client's customers might like or need something different than what you want to give them.
We believe joy lies in the fight, in the attempt, and in the learning and suffering involved — not just the victory itself. If everyone on our team can find joy in all the time, thinking, conversations, mistakes, and learning it takes to deliver great work, it'll drive curiosity, enable teamwork, build confidence, and strengthen the loyalty of everyone involved.
Most importantly, we believe in a simple work and life combo — use your talents to earn money by doing good, meaningful, and valued work so that you have resources to build and enjoy the life you want. You won't find a fixed number of annual vacation days or specific 9-5 work hours here. But you will find a responsibility to get work done so that you have the opportunity to spend lots of time with the people you love and doing the things you love to do.
